KUALA LUMPUR: Aeon Credit Service (M) Bhd
has issued the sixth senior sukuk issuance under its RM2 billion sukuk wakalah programme.
The issuance, with a nominal amount of RM350 million, was issued in two tranches comprising RM130 million for a five-year tenure and RM220 million for six years, it said in a filing with Bursa Malaysia today.
Proceeds from the senior sukuk will be utilised to fund financing and to refinance existing loans/financing or any sukuk issued by the company.
All utilisation of the sukuk programme proceeds will be shariah-compliant. - Bernama
