BHIC secures RM378mil RMAF contract


PETALING JAYA: Boustead Heavy Industries Corp Bhd (BHIC) has clinched an in-service support and performance-based contract for the Royal Malaysian Air Force (RMAF) helicopters worth RM378mil.

The contract from the Defence Ministry is for a five-year period and will see BHIC AeroServices Sdn Bhd (BHICAS), a joint venture between BHIC Defence Technologies Sdn Bhd (51%), Prestige Pillar Sdn Bhd (30%) and Airbus Helicopters Malaysia Sdn Bhd (19%), providing comprehensive in-service support for the RMAF’s fleet of EC725 helicopters.
