AZRB wins RM152mil hospital job


PETALING JAYA: Ahmad Zaki Resources Bhd (AZRB) has secured a RM151.99mil contract from the Public Works Department (PWD) to design and construct a specialist hospital in Port Dickson, Negri Sembilan.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, the construction and engineering company said its wholly-owned subsidiary, Ahmad Zaki Sdn Bhd (AZSB), received the letter of acceptance from PWD and will commence work on Aug 6, which will span over 156 weeks.

The contract win marked the company’s second win from PWD in 2024, having secured a RM315.9mil contract in April for the upgrading and renovation works on Abu Bakar Palace in Pekan, Pahang.
