G3 Global secures Maldives job


PETALING JAYA: G3 Global Bhd has received a letter of award from the Maldives’ Homeland Security and Technology Ministry granting the company exclusive rights to implement the National Integrated Migrant Workers Dormitory (NiMWD) for the Maldives government.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, G3 Global said the NiMWD system is a holistic digital platform which aims to oversee and manage the accommodation and welfare of all migrant workers in the Maldives.

G3 Global said the project will be based on a private-public partnership model, with full private finance initiatives and revenue sharing between the Maldives government and the company.

“The concession period for the project shall be for an initial period of 30 years from the date of issuance of the land lease, with an automatic extension of an additional period of 30 years,” it said.
