Sapura Resources in university tie-up

KUALA LUMPUR: Sapura Resources Bhd’s wholly-owned subsidiary Sapura Aero Sdn Bhd has inked an agreement with Nilai University to explore opportunities in academic and industry cooperation.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, the group said the parties had entered into a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to work together on job training programmes, research and development and staff training programmes.

They would also collaborate on the development of joint programmes and joint-promotional activities.

Sapura Resources said there is already an existing understanding between the parties where Nilai University has been providing a constant supply of interns as part of their on-the-job training programme.

“The MoU is merely a formalisation of this understanding,” it said.
