Pesona Metro lands RM411mil KL contract

PETALING JAYA: Pesona Metro Holdings Bhd has secured mechanical and electrical works from Gaya Kuasa Sdn Bhd for a residential high-rise project in Bukit Jalil, Kuala Lumpur worth RM410.5mil.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, Pesona Metro said the project comprises two blocks of 52-storey residential units.

“The project will not have any effect on the issued share capital and substantial shareholders’ shareholdings of the company. However, it is expected to contribute positively to the earnings and enhance the net assets of the group during the duration of the project,” it said.

Pesona Metro said the risks associated with the project were mainly operational risk and credit risk. It said it will ensure strict compliance to the safety and operational procedures in the execution of the project to minimise any operational risk exposure.
