KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysia Building Society Bhd
(MBSB) has proposed to change its name to MBSB Bhd.
In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, MBSB said the Companies Commission of Malaysia (CCM) approved and reserved the proposed name on March 29.
“The proposed change of name is subject to the approval of the shareholders of the company at the forthcoming annual general meeting to be convened on June 6,” it said, adding that shareholders will receive a circular detailing the proposed name in due course.
