MIDF boosts security after cyber Incident


KUALA LUMPUR: MIDF takes the recent cyber security incident seriously and continues to uphold the privacy and security of its customers' information.

“We have isolated the incident and taken immediate corrective actions to minimise potential impact, including informing the affected customers. Additionally, we have further enhanced our security measures to prevent such occurrences in the future,” MIDF said in a statement.

It has also notified the relevant authorities and are working closely with them on this matter.

MIDF said there has been no major service disruption as a result of this situation.

“We remain focused on strengthening our data security framework, policies, systems, and processes,” MIDF said.

It has also advised customers to remain vigilant and to exercise due diligence in safeguarding personal information.
