Awantec inks RM294.27mil deal to be Redtone's tech partner


KUALA LUMPUR: AnwanBiru Technology Bhd via its wholly-owned subsidiary Awantec Systems SDn Bhd has entered into a service agreement with Redtone Engineering and Network Services Sdn Bhd to support the government's unified communication and collaboration project, MyGovUC3.0.

In a statement, the group said Awantec will be providing Cloud computing solutions and services which includes products such as Google Workspace Enterprise and Google Cloud Platform.

The service agreement is valued at RM294.27mil and spans a duration of 57.5 months, from Feb 14, 2024, to Nov 30, 2028.

"Awantec's designation as the premier partner with managed service provider (MSP) status for Google Cloud in Malaysia underscores our capabilities and unwavering commitment to bolster the government's digital transformation plan.

"With two decades of experience in successfully executing large-scale technology projects, we are confident that this collaboration will boost digitalisation in the public sector," said AwanBiru Technology CEO Azlan Zainal Abidin.
