Malaysia's IPI expected to grow 3.7% in 2024 -- MIDF Research

KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysia’s industrial production index (IPI) for 2024 is expected to grow 3.7 per cent on the back of the recovery in external demand and global manufacturing activities, said MIDF Research.

The research house said that 2023’s moderate IPI growth, expected to be at 1.1 per cent, was due to weakness in the trade-oriented industries.
