Uzma bags job for Hibiscus’ PM3 oilfield


PETALING JAYA: Uzma Bhd secured a five-year contract to supply chemicals and related services to Hibiscus Petroleum Bhd’s 35%-owned PM3 offshore oil fields.

The PM3 Commercial Arrangement Area, located in the Malay Basin between Malaysia and Vietnam, is also 35%-owned by PETRONAS Carigali Sdn Bhd and 30%-owned by PetroVietnam Exploration Production Corp.

Uzma told the stock exchange that its subsidiary, Malaysian Energy Chemical & Services Sdn Bhd, had on Dec 1, 2023 accepted an award of contract from Hibiscus Oil & Gas Malaysia Limited for PM3.
