BLDP buys two properties in Bintulu, Sarawak totalling RM24mil


KUALA LUMPUR: BLD Plantation Bhd (BLDP) is acquiring two properties in Bintulu Sarawak from Syarikat Sebangun Sdn Bhd totalling RM24mil.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, BLDP said the proposed acquisitions at Kemena Land District, Bintulu is suitable for the group’s future plan for expansion of its business activities.

It said the acquisitions also take into account the strategic location and ease of access from Bintulu Town Centre, with the availability of existing surrounding amenities and infrastructure at the vicinity of the properties for future development.

“The proposed acquisition is also anticipated to enhance the future financial performance of the group,” it said.
