Sunview partners Vision Ambassadors to explore renewable energy prospects

PETALING JAYA: Sunview Group Bhd’s wholly-owned subsidiary, Fabulous Sunview Sdn Bhd has entered into a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Saudi Arabia-based Vision Ambassadors Company For International Trade Consultancy, LCC (Vision Ambassadors).

The renewable energy player said under the MoU, both parties will focus on seeking development and investment opportunities in relation to renewable energy and/or green energy. The collaboration will jointly identify locations of potential projects, with both parties serving as the principal investors.

Sunview will exclusively be in charge of the engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning (EPCC) related tasks for the potential project.

Executive director and chief executive officer HP Ong said: “We are thrilled to collaborate with Vision Ambassadors. We will not only explore opportunities within Malaysia but also across other regions, including Saudi Arabia, the Middle East, Africa as well as Southeast Asia. This endeavour aims to extend our geographical footprint beyond the Malaysian market.”

“In alignment with the global pursuit of achieving net-zero carbon emissions, renewable energy plays a crucial role in realising this ambitious objective. Given the sustained demand for renewable energy, we are optimistic that this MoU will yield fruitful outcomes in future,” he added.
