SSF Home set to expand reach across Malaysia

KUALA LUMPUR: SSF Home Group Bhd intends to strengthen its presence via its expansion plans to open more retail outlets to various towns and cities in Malaysia, in particular the northern and southern regions.

The home-grown furniture and home living product retailer said the expansion into new areas would enable the group to build awareness and increase the visibility and presence of its brand.

“Additionally, in order to further strengthen and expand its market share with new customers, the group will continuously launch additional rewards and promotional activities for its existing and new members,” SSF said in a filing with Bursa Malaysia.

The SSFHOME mobile app will undergo upgrades, featuring an enhanced user interface with web view access, a new payment module for mobile purchases, and integration with the group's new enterprise-wide resource planning system.

SSF expects that the addition of payment module and improved user interface will enable them to expand their reach and provide customers with an increased channel to purchase the group’s products.

In the second quarter ended Oct 31, SSF posted a net loss of RM3.64mil, or loss per share of 0.57 sen on revenue of RM31.2mil.
