SCIB gets RM16.8mil contract

PETALING JAYA: Sarawak Consolidated Industries Bhd (SCIB) has accepted a letter of award and acceptance worth RM16.8mil for substantial contract works from S & I Urban Designers Sdn Bhd.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, SCIB said the contract involves the supply and delivery of precast components for the apron and taxiway of Projek Pembinaan Pangkalan Pasukan Gerakan Udara PDRM Sarawak.

“This project, encompassing both design and construction elements, is scheduled to run from Dec 5, 2023 through Oct 4, 2024.

“With this new contract, SCIB's order book balance now stands at RM273.99mil, further bolstered by a share price of 78 sen a market capitalisation of RM499.4mil as at Dec 4,” it said.
