Bank Muamalat clinches top Islamic Retail Bank and CEO Award at IRBA 2023

KUALA LUMPUR: Bank Muamalat Malaysia Bhd has won the "Most Improved Islamic Retail Bank in Malaysia 2023" and "IRBA CEO of the Year 2023" awards at the prestigious 9th Islamic Retail Banking Awards (IRBA) 2023 Ceremony held in Manama, Bahrain.

The "Most Improved Islamic Retail Bank in Malaysia 2023" award was conferred following comprehensive global ranking research conducted by the Cambridge Institute of Islamic Finance, in collaboration with Hamdan Mohamed Smart University, Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE).

Bank Muamalat president and chief executive officer Khairul Kamarudin said: "We are grateful to be recognised as the 'Most Improved Islamic Retail Bank in Malaysia. It is a testament to Bank Muamalat's commitment to making Islamic financing accessible to all Malaysians, ensuring all can achieve 'Better lives, together.”
