BFood to focus on cost optimisation, labour productivity


HLIB Research said from management guidance, Starbucks made up the big chunk of the revenue for the first quarter financial year 2024.

PETALING JAYA: To mitigate the challenging market conditions, Berjaya Food Holdings Bhd (BFood) is focusing on cost optimisation, labour productivity and an effective marketing strategy.

The situation will be challenging for BFood with the unfavourable foreign exchange as 55% of the beverage costs purchased from the principal Starbucks International is dominated in US dollars.
