APPEC will seek answers on tightening oil fundamentals, China and recession fears

Delegates attending the Asia Pacific Petroleum Conference, or APPEC, will seek answers on Asian oil demand revival, China's role in aiding that recovery, tightening oil market fundamentals and the prospects of global recession when they meet in Singapore in the first week of September.

In addition, how Asian energy companies and policy makers will craft their future and new energy strategies for a region heavily dependent on fossil fuel imports will also be on their minds during the three-day conference, set to take place over Sept. 4-6 and organized by S&P Global Commodity Insights.
