MCT to be traded as Avaland from July 11


KUALA LUMPUR: Bursa Malaysia has announced that MCT Bhd will be traded and quoted under its new company name, Avaland Bhd, from 9am on Tuesday, July 11, 2023.

The stock exchange operator said the company's new stock short name is Avaland while the stock code remains unchanged.

As at 12.30pm, MCT was last traded unchanged at 17 sen a share on the back of 363,600 shares exchanging hands.

MCT said in a filing with Bursa Malaysia the company's name had been changed to Avaland Bhd effective June 28, 2023, following the receipt of the notice of registration of new name issued by the Companies Commission of Malaysia.
