Naza Corp ventures into durian plantation


PETALING JAYA: Naza Corp Holdings Sdn Bhd is venturing into durian plantation business under Naza Agro Plantation.

It plans to cultivate 580 acres out of the 2,000 acres of land it holds in Raub, Pahang, with the Musang King and other premium variants.

Naza Agro aims to achieve harvest by 2027 for the Musang King variant, which has great demand in China, Singapore and Hong Kong.

“By cultivating the premium Musang King, the group plans to tap into a market segment that values ethically sourced, high-quality produce, enabling it to meet rising demand for this exceptional fruit while promoting sustainability and responsible farming practices,” it said in a statement.

Naza Agro has appointed Top Fruits Sdn Bhd, one of the top exporters of premium durians to China and other countries, as its strategic partner.

Located in Mukim Semantan Ulu in Raub, the Naza Agro’s plantation is nestled between the majestic Titiwangsa Range and Benom Mountain Range, boasting the finest topography in the area.
