Samchem affected by weaker sales


PETALING JAYA: Samchem Holdings Bhd posted lower earnings and revenue for the first quarter ended March 31, 2023 due to a decline in sales and weaker prices.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia yesterday, Samchem said it posted a 29.9% year-on-year (y-o-y) drop in revenue to RM255.39mil due to a decrease in average selling price and sales volume.
