Ageson fails to submit annual report, suspended from May 10


KUALA LUMPUR: Trading in the securities of Ageson Bhd will be suspended with effect from May 10 after it failed to submit its annual report for the financial year ended Dec 31, 2022 (FY22).

The company has failed to submit its annual report that includes the annual audited financial statements together with the auditors' and directors' reports in respect of FY22 Bursa Malaysia Securities for public release within the stipulated timeframe i.e. April 30.

Under Bursa Securities' Main Market Listing Requirements, if a listed issuer fails to issue the outstanding financial statements within five market days after the expiry of the relevant timeframe, it will be suspended.

If the company fails to issue the outstanding financial statements within six months from the expiry of the relevant timeframes, it faces delisting.

Ageson tumbled 22.22%, or one sen to 3.5 sen with 12.96 million shares traded at 3.32pm.
