Pekat Solar gets RM29mil PV system job


PETALING JAYA: Pekat Group Bhd sub-subsidiary Pekat Solar Sdn Bhd (PSSB) has accepted a Letter of Award from D&Y Textile (M Sdn Bhd to install a solar photovoltaic (PV) system in a contract worth RM29.1mil.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia yesterday, Pekat noted the contract requires PSSB to design, supply, install, test and commission grid connected the PV systems under the self consumption scheme at three of D&Y’s sites in Taman Perindustrian Sedenak in Kulai, Johor.

The entire project is scheduled to be completed within an eight-month period by December 2023. With this new win, Pekat has successfully increased its order book to RM223mil.
