Kerjaya Prospek subsidiary bags RM135.41mil design-and-build job


KUALA LUMPUR: Kerjaya Prospek Bhd's 49%-owned subsidiary Kerjaya Bina BMK Sdn Bhd has secured a contract from BBCC Development Sdn Bhd for a design-and-build job on the main building of a proposed development off Jalan Hang Tuah and Jalan Pudu in Kuala LUmpur for RM135.41mil.

It said in a filing with Bursa Malaysia that the vendor, BBCC Development, is a joint venture between the Employees Provident Fund, UDA Holdings Bhd and Eco World Development Group Bhd.

According to the group, the contract covers the design and build of a 31-storey service apartment, basement and podium with a seven-storey carpark, main lobby and multipurpose hall.

The contract will commence on March 1, 2023, and be completed with 36 months.

Kerjaya Prospek said the contract is expected to provide it with additional stream of revenue over the next three years.
