Trading ideas: Reservoir Link Energy, MQ Technology, Berjaya Corp and SYF Resources

KUALA LUMPUR: Stocks to watch for on Friday include Reservoir Link Energy, MQ Technology, Berjaya Corp and SYF Resources, said Apex Research.

Reservoir Link Energy Bhd’s unit won a RM11.4 million contract for the supply of mounting structures for large-scale solar (LSS) photovoltaic plant development.

MQ Technology Bhd has proposed to diversify into property development.

Berjaya Corp Bhd (BCorp) founder and major shareholder Tan Sri Vincent Tan Chee Yioun has now trimmed his stake in the diversified group to 19.061%.

SYF Resources Bhd managing director Datuk Seri Ng Ah Chai’s stake in the company was reduced by half to 11.97%.

Meanwhile, Apex said the FBM KLCI could see more upside on the back of better-than-expected US GDP results, and trade around the key level of 1,500 points.

The US market ended a choppy session higher as investors grappled with an onslaught of economic data and a string of mixed corporate earnings, all while anticipating next week's Federal Reserve monetary policy meeting.

Earlier, European markets closed higher as positive momentum built and US GDP beat.
