Mohd Redzuan resigns as chairman of Boustead Holdings

KUALA LUMPUR: Datuk Seri Mohd Redzuan Md Yusof has resigned from his position as independent non-executive chairman of Boustead Holdings Bhd to pursue other interests effective today.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, Boustead said Mohd Redzuan, 65, was appointed on Jan 3, 2022 and prior to that, he served as the Minister of Entrepreneur Development and Cooperatives from 2018 to 2020 and later as Minister in the Prime Minister's Department (Special Functions) from 2020 to 2021.

Mohd Redzuan held a Bachelor of Science (Honours) Degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Leeds, United Kingdom and began his illustrious career as an engineer with Esso Malaysia Sdn Bhd and later served in Petronas Carigali Sdn Bhd.

Boustead also announced the resignation of independent and non-executive director Datuk Nonee Ashirin Mohd Radzi; and non-independent and non-executive director Senator Datuk Seri Zurainah Musa, 61, effective Jan 10, 2023.

Nonee Ashirin, 51, is also a chairman of Global Turbine Asia Sdn Bhd. - Bernama
