Comintel shareholders reject JT's takeover offer


KUALA LUMPUR: Comintel Corporation Bhd’s shareholders have rejected JT Conglomerate Sdn Bhd’s mandatory takeover offer to acquire the remaining 166.44 million Comintel shares (43.51 per cent stake) worth 15 sen per share.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, the press notice stated that JT Conglomerate’s shares remained at 56.49 per cent as of the closing date at 5 pm Friday (Jan 6).
