Ranhill Utilities unit bags RM38.50mil job to upgrade JKR water supply piping system


KUALA LUMPUR: Ranhill Utilities Bhd’s indirect unit, Ranhill Water Services Sdn Bhd (RWS), has secured a RM38.50 million project from the Public Works Department (JKR) for the upgrading of the piping system for treated water supply at the Royal Malaysian Navy Base, Lumut, Perak.

The project is on a design and build basis with the major scope of works component consisting of the replacement of existing old pipes with mild steel pipes in sizes varying from 150 mm to 500 mm in diameter with a total length of 61km, construction of a new booster pumping station, and refurbishment of existing reservoirs and ancillary equipment.
