PETALING JAYA: The new 500,000 sq ft Datum Jelatek Shopping Centre has officially opened its doors and is set to become the focal point of the local communities in Ampang and Gombak.

Datumcorp International Sdn Bhd (DCI) chief executive officer Mohd Azmil Abd Shukor said the project started in 2014 and was successfully completed last year.

“We at DCI believe that the development will help plan the state’s economic cycle and increase employment opportunities for the local community,” he said at the opening ceremony of the mall.

DCI is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Selangor State Development Corp or PKNS. — Bernama
