FBM KLCI slumps 31 points as OPR lifted by 25 bps


KUALA LUMPUR: Bursa Malaysia ended on a downbeat note on Thursday as selling on blue chips sent FBM KLCI skidding more than 2%.

Bank Negara’s Monetary Policy Committee (MPC) has raised its overnight policy rate (OPR) by 25 basis points (bps) to 2.75%, in line with expectations.
