Sersol is agent for Premium Visa Programme

KUALA LUMPUR: Sersol Bhd has been appointed an agent for the Malaysia Premium Visa Programme (PVIP) by the Immigration Department.

The group said in a filing with Bursa Malaysia that the appointment would enable it to process up to 300 applications over three years from Oct 21, 2022.

The PVIP is a long-term residency status visa that enables investors, entrepreneurs and foreign talents to live and work or study in Malaysia for up to 20 years.

Principally involved with plastic and metal coating for the electrical and electronics industry, ACE-Market-listed Sersol said the appointment would allow it to operate in a new business segment, thus diversifying its revenue stream.

“The board is of view that the appointment is in the best interest of the company and its subsidiaries and barring any unforeseen circumstances, the appointment will contribute positively to the group,” it said.
