FBM KLCI extends gains, closes firmly above 1,400-level

KUALA LUMPUR: The FBM KLCI extended its gains on Wednesday and stayed above the 1,400-point level, bucking the performance of its regional peers.

The benchmark index closed up 14.74 points, or 1.05% to 1,415.40, its intraday high.
