KUALA LUMPUR: The government will extend tax deductions on listing expenses to cover technology-based companies on Bursa Malaysia’s Main Market.

The government will also extend tax deductions of up to RM1.5 million on company listing expenses on the ACE and the Leading Entrepreneur Accelerator Platform (LEAP) Markets until the year of assessment 2025, Finance Minister Tengku Datuk Seri Zafrul Abdul Aziz said during Budget 2023 presentation today.

To support the development of successful local technology-based companies, the government will also provide a RM100 million allocation under the local strategic investment fund. - Bernama
