APB wins RM11.8mil contract from Desmet Ballestra


KUALA LUMPUR: APB Resources Bhd’s wholly owned subsidiary, Amalgamated Metal Corporation (M) Sdn Bhd has secured a contract worth RM11.8mil from Desmet Ballestra (M) Sdn Bhd.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, APB said the contract was to undertake the scope of work which involves mechanical engineering, procurement and construction of pressure vessels and heat exchangers.

The scope of work is estimated to be completed within eight months.

“The contracts will not have any effect on the share capital and shareholding structure of the company. However, it is expected to have an impact on earnings of APB group over the financial year ending Sept 30, 2023,” APB said.
