Majuperak CEO to go on garden leave


PETALING JAYA: Majuperak Holdings Bhd has announced that its group chief executive officer (CEO)-cum-executive director Nizran Noordin has been given garden leave effective Sept 2 until the expiry of his service contract on Oct 31, 2022.

It said in a filing with Bursa Malaysia its chief financial officer, Syed Agil Syed Hashim, will be appointed acting group CEO to assume the day-to-day management of the group and its subsidiaries.

According to the statement, Syed Agil has over 20 years of experience in senior management, corporate, finance, funding, business planning and auditing.
