MIDF appoints Mohd Nasir Ali as director

KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysian Industrial Development Finance Bhd (MIDF) has appointed Datuk Mohd Nasir Ali as an independent non-executive director and chairman of MIDF Amanah Investment Bank Bhd effective Aug 17.

In a statement, MIDF said Nasir has served as a director of MIDF Amanah Investment Bank Bhd since August 2019.

Nasir was previously chief executive officer of Kuala Lumpur City Securities Sdn and prior to that had spent 13 years as an analyst and investment manager at Permodalan Nasional Bhd, BBMB Unit Trust Management Sdn Bhd, and Mayban Securities Sdn Bhd.

He has served on the boards of numerous listed and non-listed companies as well as several other notable organisations, including Plenitude Bhd and Amanah Raya Bhd.
