BCorp plans to list unit in Singapore


KUALA LUMPUR: Berjaya Corp Bhd (BCorp) has proposed to list its indirect 51.62%-owned subsidiary, Singapore Institute of Advanced Medicine Holdings Pte Ltd (SIAMH), on the Singapore Exchange’s Catalist board.

The diversified group, in a filing with Bursa Malaysia, said the proposed listing exercise will be by the way of an initial public offering (IPO).

“PrimePartners Corporate Finance Pte Ltd (PPCF) has been appointed to act as the sponsor, issue manager and placement agent to SIAMH for the proposed listing,” it said.

PPCF is a Singapore boutique corporate finance firm licensed by the Monetary Authority of Singapore to provide financial advisory and capital raising services.

BCorp added details of the proposed listing and the financial effects on BCorp as well as other developments will be announced in due course.
