Fernandes is AAX acting group CEO

PETALING JAYA: Tan Sri Tony Fernandes (pic) has been redesignated as acting group CEO of AirAsia X Bhd (AAX) from his post of director.

Fernandes is appointed as the acting group chief executive officer in addition to his position as a non-independent non-executive director of AAX, the company said in a filing with Bursa Malaysia.
