Manufacturing PMI falls to 50.1 in May


KUALA LUMPUR: The seasonally adjusted S&P Global Malaysia manufacturing purchasing managers’ index (PMI) fell to 50.1 in May from 51.6 in April.

While fractionally above the neutral 50.0 level, the latest reading was indicative of a broad stagnation in manufacturing operating conditions, according to S&P Global.
