KPS gets money lending licence


KUALA LUMPUR: KPS Consortium Bhd’s wholly-owned subsidiary, Hai Ming Marketing Sdn Bhd (HMMSB) has received the Money Lending Licence issued by the Registrar of Moneylenders of Housing and Local Government Ministry.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, KPS said the approval allows HMMSB to undertake any business of those relating to the money lending activities.

“The approval will not have any material impact on the earnings per share, net assets per share, share capital, gearing and substantial shareholders' shareholdings of the company and its subsidiaries for the financial year ending Dec 31, 2022,” it said.
