SCIB secures EPCC contract worth RM36mil


KUALA LUMPUR: Sarawak Consolidated Industries Bhd (SCIB) has secured an engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning (EPCC) contract worth RM36mil.

The civil engineering specialist, in a Bursa filing, said its wholly-owned subsidiary, SCIB Properties Sdn Bhd has accepted a letter of award and acceptance from Masama Sdn Bhd.

SCIB Properties will be undergoing the construction of road infrastructure in Bukit Goram, Katibas, Ngemah, and Machan as well as the proposed construction of Nanga Banjor, Nanga Makut roads and Katibas in Daerah Song, Sarawak.

The contract will commence from May 2022 to April 2023.

“The contract secured is expected to contribute positively to SCIB group’s future earnings over the duration of the contract,” it said.
