CCCS grants approval for SIA-MAB cooperation

PETALING JAYA: The Competition and Consumer Commission of Singapore (CCCS) has granted conditional approval of the proposed commercial cooperation between Singapore Airlines Ltd (SIA) and Malaysia Airlines Bhd (MAB), after accepting a set of proposed commitments from both parties.

In a statement yesterday, CCCS said it had conducted a public consultation from Nov 27 to Dec 18, 2019 as part of its assessment process. The cooperation will be implemented via a Commercial Cooperation Framework Agreement that SIA and MAB entered into on Oct 30, 2019.
