Mesiniaga bags RM59.63mil job for TM cloud core data centre


KUALA LUMPUR: Mesiniaga Bhd has secured a RM59.63mil contract from Telekom Malaysia Bhd for services in relation to a telco cloud core data centre.

The agreement will include "the design, supply, delivery, installation, testing, commissioning, integration, training, professional services and maintenance and support services of the Telco Cloud Core Data Center", it said in a filing with Bursa Malaysia.

The ICT solutions firm added that the contract period is from April 1, 2022, to Nov 15, 2024.

The contract is expected to contribute positively to the group’s earnings and net assets for the financial year ending Dec 31, 2022, onwards until the expiry of the contract.

As at 12.30pm, shares in Mesiniaga remained untraded. Shares in the company last exchanged hands on May 6, 2022, at RM1.50 apiece.
