PUTRAJAYA: The Malaysian Nanotechnology Industrial Group (MNIG) will be established in the third quarter of this year to bring together industry players in the country and be the voice of the industry, says Science, Technology and Innovation Minister Datuk Seri Dr Adham Baba.

He said the MNIG would serve as a collaboration platform between nanotechnology companies and the small and medium enterprises, as well as assist in inter-company coordination in the supply chain of nanotechnology products.

“Hopefully, it will be the best platform for more industries to be able to penetrate the international market,” he told reporters after meeting more than 30 representatives of nanotechnology companies here yesterday. — Bernama
