Sapura Resources posts losses


PETALING JAYA: For its fourth quarter ended Jan 31, 2022, Sapura Resources Bhd’s net loss widened to RM109.9mil from RM3.4mil a year earlier, while revenue was 4.5% lower year-on-year to RM10.9mil.

The group said the losses were due to additional impairment of RM61mil, coupled with recognition of depreciation and finance cost. For financial year 2022, its net loss widened to RM270.5mil from RM20.5mil, while revenue was 1.8% lower year-on-year to RM45.2mil.
