Icon Offshore secures US$9.6mil contract from ConocoPhillips Sarawak


KUALA LUMPUR: Icon Offshore Bhd has secured a contract worth US$9.6mil from ConocoPhillips Sarawak Limited and Conocophillips Sarawak Oil Limited (collectively Conocophillips Sarawak) for the provision of a jack-up rig.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, Icon Offshore said ConocoPhillips Sarawak had on Dec 23, 2021 issued a letter of award to I Oilfield Services Sdn Bhd (IOSSB) for the provision of a jack-up rig to drill three wells plus one well which is expected to commence in the 2nd quarter of 2022.
