KUALA LUMPUR: Inta Bina Group Bhd has secured a construction contract worth RM160.6mil from Sunway Artessa Sdn Bhd, a joint-venture company of Sunway Bhd.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, Inta Bina said its wholly-owned unit, Inta Bina Sdn Bhd, had accepted the letter of award from Sunway Artessa for main building works on an apartment located at Setapak, Kuala Lumpur.

The contract involves the construction of a 47-storey apartment (468 units) with four levels of underground car park and a developer unit on the rooftop. The construction will take 33 months to complete.

Inta Bina managing director Paul Lim Ooi Joo said: “With the economy reopening and operating environment being eased, we look forward to a better year and have set an order book replenishment target of RM800mil for 2022.

“We remain optimistic on our outlook, supported by our ability to replenish the order book. The healthy unbilled order book, now at RM1.3bil, will provide us with earnings visibility over the next three years,” he said.
