Taliworks bags RM602.42mil water treatment job from Air Selangor


KUALA LUMPUR: Taliworks Corporation Bhd has received a contract from Pengurusan Air Selangor Sdn Bhd (Air Selangor) worth RM602.43 million for the proposed development of Sg Rasau water treatment plant and water supply scheme (Phase one), Selangor Package 2.

Package 2 entailed the design and build of proposed treated water pumping station, treated water pumping mains to the existing Bukit Lipat Kajang reservoirs, distribution and associated works, it said in a filing with Bursa Malaysia.

"The company will have access to the site on Dec 29, 2021 and works are expected to be completed on Dec 31, 2024,” the company said.

Taliworks said the contract is expected to contribute positively to the group’s earnings and net assets for the duration of the contract.

At the close of trading today, Taliworks shares were flat at 85.5 sen with 1.26 million shares traded. - Bernama
