PETALING JAYA: Malaysia has ventured into the production of second-generation biodiesel and biojet fuel, which are expected to be commercialised to the global market in the next four to five years, Bernama reported, citing Plantation Industries and Commodities Minister Datuk Zuraida Kamaruddin.(pic)

The national news agency said the development followed the signing of a memorandum of understanding on the technical exchange on the production of second-generation biodiesel and biojet fuel in Malaysia.
