4G Internet coverage to hit 92% by 2022

KUCHING: Sarawak’s 4G Internet coverage will reach 92% by 2022 after the completion of the first phase of the National Digital Network (Jendela) initiative, said Communications and Multimedia Minister Tan Sri Annuar Musa.

He said that next year, Sarawak will have 4G coverage that is almost the same as those in other states in the country when the government accelerates the process of upgrading the broadband infrastructure at a cost of RM4.09bil.
